キックオフ同時間から、同時期にオランダにて開催されていたFIHワールドカップ日本代表さくらジャパン（女子ホッケー）の試合映像（録画）をプロジェクターで投影し、パブリックビューイングを行った。
通行人の多くは「サッカーどうなってる？」と尋ねるので、「サッカーは知りませんが、ホッケーは2−0で負けています」というように答えた。

It was the first game of FIFA World Cup 2014 in brazil for Japanese national football team. At the same time of Kick off of the game, We started to show the game of Japanese women’s national hockey team of FIH world cup in Netherland on the wall of Maedabunka.
Many passersby asked questions about the football game, but we answered “Don’t know about the football but Hockey is loosing with 0-2.”
